Photography is something I’ve been interested in for a while. I finally bought a decent camera a couple of weeks ago, and decided it was time to start up a website. I was bored the other day, and stumbled upon Google sites. It is just like any free web-hosting site, but I decided to give it a try. So, I set up a web store called Huntertown Sales. Currently the inventory is college text books, however, I hope to expand the inventory as the year progresses. I’m curious if anybody has any experience with setting up a web store of their own. If you have, leave a comment and let me know how successful your web store is (or is not).
I just recently heard about how Obama wants to build a Mosque on Ground Zero. A Mosque is a Muslim Temple or place of public worship. Honestly we do have freedom of religion, so it could be built where ever they want to put it. However, I believe it shows complete disrespect to the victims that were involved in 9/11. It was a group of Muslims that attacked the world trade center. Why would we put up a place for Muslims to worship on the ground that they attacked? Its almost like saying here’s your reward for attacking this place. Now keep in mind not all Muslims are terrorist, only a select few. If Obama wants to build a Mosque, I say go for it. Just don’t build it any where near Ground Zero.
So, I want to hear your opinion on this issue. Do you believe it is the right or wrong thing to do. Please leave a comment explaining why you believe what you do!
Its been over 3 months and BP is still trying to fix the oil spill in the Gulf. What I don’t understand is why they were able to operate the rig without government regulations. Perhaps if there were some regulations in place, the explosion never would have happened. BP should have at least had a plan in place in case something went wrong. But, instead of being prepared, they are taking 3 months trying to figure out what they are going to do. The oil has already contaminated most of the Gulf region. Hopefully BP and the government will learn from this mistake and require all oil companies to have a plan in place to stop oil from leaking into the oceans.
So, I decided to start up a mustang/car show blog. Im going to start using this one for other stuff. I’ll pretty much update this for random stuff I have on my mind. So, I am sure most of you have heard by now that Obama’s health care plan has made it through congress and is now ready for him to sign off on. He is scheduled to sign the bill on Tuesday. This blog is not usually political, but this is a big moment in American history. I am not saying its a good moment, in fact I feel the exact opposite. I don’t understand why politicians feel the need for an entirely new system. Why did they not just expand medicare and Medicaid? I believe this would have been a cheaper solution. I know politicians that voted for the bill are saying this plan will reduce our deficits, but I don’t see any way that is possible unless they are going to tax everyone at extremely high rates. Ok enough of my ranting. How do you guys feel about this whole situation? I would love to hear everyone’s opinion on this topic.
Polaris has filled a gap in the UTV market. Before the rzr4, you had to find an aftermarket company willing to modify your UTV to fit 4 seats. These modifications were not cheap, but now you can get 4 seats right from the factory. And the best part is, it is only $1000 more than the 2 seat version. Here is a cool video I found on youtube. Its cool to see what the dunes are like in the winter. Yes, it is legal to snowmobile on the dunes in the winter as long as there is at least 4 inches of snow.
